Overview
Your experience starts with a safety briefing and, once geared up you will be on the plane with a scenic flight over the Latrobe Valley with panoramic views of Wilsons Promontory, Mt Bulla and Mt Baw Baw.
On the way up to 10,000 feet you will be firmly secured to your tandem instructor, once at altitude the doors of the plane will open, the wind will come rushing in and it’s time to go tandem skydiving!

Experience Details
Upon arrival at Commando Skydivers, your experience will commence with check-in and the completion of necessary paperwork. Following this, you’ll undergo a comprehensive safety briefing, providing you with a thorough understanding of the upcoming skydiving adventure and crucial safety protocols.
After the briefing, you’ll be assigned a tandem master who is equipped with specialised parachute gear designed for tandem jumps. Boarding the plane, you’ll enjoy a scenic joy flight to altitude.
Once at the designated height, the aircraft doors will open, and together with your tandem master, you’ll navigate to the exit point. Your tandem skydiving instructor will then initiate the deployment of the main parachute. If you desire, your tandem master can offer you the opportunity to steer the parachute before guiding you both to a gentle and smooth landing.
Feel free to stick around and observe other skydiving activities at the club once your own exhilarating skydive has concluded.

- Age: 16 years upwards, under 18’s require guardian’s consent.
- Weight Limitations: Participants over 95kg may need to pay a fuel surcharge.
- Scuba Diving: A 24-hour gap required after the last scuba dive.

- Pilot Correctly Rated. Proper certification and rating guarantee that pilots are proficient in handling the unique challenges and requirements of flying in conjunction with skydiving activities, prioritising the safety of both the pilot and the skydivers they transport.
- Pilot has Current Credentials. A current license ensures that pilots have met the necessary training requirements, stay updated with regulatory changes, and are competent in safely navigating the unique challenges associated with skydiving flights.
- APF Member Organisation. Being a member of the Australian Parachute Federation (APF) ensures compliance with national safety standards and regulations governing the sport. Membership with APF ensures that the school follows industry best practices, undergoes regular safety inspections, and adheres to training guidelines, all of which contribute to maintaining a high level of safety and professionalism within the skydiving community.
